3D product configurator for print shops and manufacturers

Print shop customers rarely know how to describe what they want beyond “make the logo bigger”. The confeek 3D configurator removes that conversation. Customers build the product in their browser, see it on a 3D model and send an order with a complete configuration. Your team gets print files and a job sheet instead of an email thread. There are two ways to start: join the confeek.com platform, or get a turnkey configurator on your own website.

What changes for production

A typical merch order starts with an email and goes through several rounds of edits. A manager writes the brief, a designer draws a mockup, the client asks to move the logo, then asks again. Every round costs manager hours and raises the risk that the wrong version reaches the shop floor.

A product configurator moves that work to the customer’s side in a way they actually enjoy: they rotate the model, drag the logo and see the result at once.

  • Orders arrive with the full configuration: product, colours, materials, logo position and size, quantity.
  • Customers saw the item in 3D before ordering, so there are fewer “I thought it would be bigger” disputes.
  • Print files and the job sheet are generated by the system, not prepared by hand for every order.
  • Approval is a signed document: the customer signs a PDF and uploads a scan that is checked against the current order via a QR code.

Option one: join the confeek.com platform

You work as a production partner on the platform. Customers design products in the confeek.com configurators, and orders reach you with the mockup and documents attached. No in-house development needed: configurators, dashboards and documents already work.

  • Production dashboard: order queue, materials, history and documents.
  • Dealer dashboard: products, orders, clients, order types and documents, for those who sell and manage clients themselves.
  • Order status updates live in the dashboards, with no page reload.
  • The job sheet and approval sheet are built from the current order every time you download them.

Option two: a turnkey configurator on your website

If your print shop has its own website and its own customers, the configurator can live there. We build the 3D editor around your catalogue: which products go in, which options customers can change, how it looks and where orders go are all agreed during the project. Customers design without leaving your site.

The scope depends on your catalogue: how many products, whether 3D models exist, how many colours, materials and print areas. That is why scope and timeline are set after we discuss your needs.

How onboarding works

  1. Intro callYou tell us what you produce, how you take orders today and where time gets lost.
  2. Catalogue reviewTogether we choose products for the configurator and their options.
  3. Choose the setupPlatform at confeek.com or a configurator on your own site.
  4. SetupWe add the products and dashboard access, and show you where orders, print files and job sheets appear.
  5. First ordersCustomers build mockups, you receive orders and move them through statuses.

What your customers get

  • The configurator runs in the browser, no account needed to build a mockup.
  • Logo upload in PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF up to 25 MB, from a phone via QR code, with background removal built in.
  • Drag and resize the logo on the model, undo and redo any step.
  • Quantity at the bottom of the panel; a single sample can be ordered for the notebook.
  • Mockup by email: a PDF with the render, options and quantity to forward to whoever signs off.
  • Guest checkout or ordering from an account; drafts are saved in the browser.

An approval sheet you can rely on

The costliest dispute in production is “we never approved this” after the run is printed. In confeek approval is a document, not a “looks fine” email. The customer downloads a PDF, signs it and uploads a scan. The sheet carries a QR code derived from the order. If quantity, price, colour or logo changed after printing the sheet, the code no longer matches and the old scan is rejected.

Products already in the configurator

The confeek catalogue has twelve products, from notebooks and thermoses to T-shirts, tote bags, stickers and furniture. Try any configurator yourself before we talk.
